Rates & Insurance
Free Consultation
Before we start our work together, I offer a free 20-30 minute consultation to answer questions and evaluate our working relationship.
Individual Therapy
80-90 Min Intake Session - $220
Intakes are one-time preliminary sessions that allow us to complete a biopsychosocial assessment (i.e. explore presenting problems, review client history, and preview my therapeutic style.)
50-60 Min Standard Session - $170
Standard sessions occur on a weekly to monthly basis, offering both in-person and telehealth over a secure video platform.
60 Min Auxiliary Family Sessions ($190) are offered for established clients.
Please Note: I do not accept insurance at this time and I am considered an out-of-network provider.
For those who are interested in working with me but are out-of-network, you may still be able to get insurance to pay part of sessions when working with me. I highly suggest finding out your “out-of-network mental health benefits,” as many plans offer reimbursement rates that would be similar to a copay. I’m absolutely willing to provide you with documentation called “super bills” to submit to your insurance for reimbursement on a monthly basis.
I recognize that insurance is an important access point for many individuals to receive mental health care. If you’re curious about my reasons for not accepting insurance, I’d be happy to discuss them with you further. For those who have the ability or desire to choose the sovereignty that comes with private pay, the benefits of not using insurance are consistent and transparent costs of treatment, unlimited sessions, no restrictions on time, freedom from forced diagnosis, flexibility on records kept, and continuity of care.
Reduced Cost Individual Therapy
If you are experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19, or feel you may require a reduced cost option to access therapy, please reach out! I currently have a very limited number of reduced cost openings left at this time.
Priority for reduced cost individual therapy slots are given to queer, trans, black, indigenous, and people of color (QTBIPOC) individuals and folks with Medicaid/Apple Health insurance plans.
Please inquire for more information.
